Zero Gravity

 

The exhibition space filled with the naive wire form is presenting unstable vision and atmosphere.
Rather than creating the structure itself, Kawakami is trying to present the image and representation of the sense of in between its existence and nonexistence in universe timeline.

 

作品では、私が素材に干渉し形を作り上げていくことで、軽やかで繊細ながら、ぎこちない表情をもはらんだ構造物形体を作り上げています。目指すのは、構造体そのものではなく、私の抱くイメージとその感覚の表現です。物質と非物質の狭間を行き来するような存在を眺める感覚を空間の中に具現化したいと考えています。
